Nancy Lundebjerg is Chief Operating Officer of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS). She is also the senior staff lead for the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs, a supporting Foundation of the AGS. At AGS, Ms. Lundebjerg oversees the Society’s public policy, internal and external communications, professional and public education programs, membership department, governance, and grants and special projects. She is an ex-officio member of the Council of the Section for Enhancing Geriatric Understanding and Expertise among Surgical and Related Medical Specialties (SEGUE), which works to advance integration of geriatrics principles into surgical care. She is a coauthor of papers published in The Journal of the American Geriatrics Society on this initiative. Ms. Lundebjerg holds a BA in English Literature from Connecticut College and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Hartford, where she was a Woodruff Scholar and also a fellow in the Office of Legislative Research of the Connecticut State Legislature.
